Welcome To My Blog
Hi, Im Nick Birch an Architectural Technology student studying at The University Of Northampton.
Whilst I am not studying I also work for a small practice on the edge of Buckinghamshire dealing with architecture, planning and conservation.
Architecture and construction has always been a passion of mine ever since a young age of playing with Lego bricks. I have also been lucky enough throughout my life so far, to travel to many places across the world and experience many different cultures and styles of architecture and this will be easily recognised by some of the post on this blog.
Background
My backgroud is within the technical side of architecture as after I left school I studied part time at Bedford College to achieve a BTEC Level 3 Qualification in Construction and The Built Environment, whilst also working for a small practice in Biggleswade gaining practice experience.
I have been lucky enough to work on a wide range of projects so far including domestic and commercial extensions, housing design, landscape design and more recently conservation and work on listed buildings.
