Whilst on my vacation in Gozo I made it my challenge to photograph the local achitecture that I found of interest to me. This is a photo of one of the oldest buildings in the village of Xaghra. This building sat in the centre of the square which was located at the highest point of the village and meant that the surroundings were visible all around incase of invasion. This building took my interest as it shows the importance of the church to a village like this and with its grand size is visible to all around.
