Today during our lecture at University we watched a documentary which covered the involvement of English Heritage on the Kings Cross Station and local area development. The documentary was interesting and helped us identify the challenges and complications that dealing with existing, and more so in this case, listed buildings can have when working on them.
In the documentary it was interesting to see the level of detail that was made of major importance to the English Heritage. This was made apparent by the discussions held in multiple meetings throughout the documentary between English Heritage and John McAslan and Partners with regard to the historic cast iron brackets that are located in the new ticket hall.
