Today as part of The University of Northamptons School of the Arts Subject futures week, I was lucky enough to be able to attend a talk by photographer Josh Pulman,
Josh talked us through the type of work that he does such as photography of portraits, places, interiors, music and performance, special effects and photography for advertisement.
Josh talked us through the importance of capturing the "Deciscive Moment". By this he described the importance of light levels and position and also the techniques that can be used when simply adjusting the camera to achieve the finish that you are looking for. Josh also mentioned that it is important to try different things and evaluate the environment that the shots are being taken in and see how they can effect the end result.
