Whilst researching kinetic facade precedents for my design project, I became particularly interested in the kinetic facade used by the Architect at the Brisbane International Airport Car Park.
The use of the kinetic facade enables the functional solid concrete structure to be disguised by this light weight and delicate exterior image. The facade means that the function of the building is not disturbed but the form is made far more interesting and attractive to the eye.
