The project team’s priorities during this stage will be facilitating the successful handover

of the building in line with the Project Programme and, in the period immediately following, concluding all aspects of the Building Contract, including the inspection of defects as they are rectified or the production of certification required by the Building Contract.

It is important to understand during this stage that it is not only the closure of the current project but it is the facilitator of success and improvement for future projects. It is import to review "the what went well" and "what didn't go well" to see if it is possible to remove or reduce the latter.
