Upton

Today we took the opportunity to visit a nearby emerging development of Upton. The development was started approximately 15 years ago and construction work on the far side of the site is still being carried out today.

The main aim of our visit to Upton was to look at the different forms of the buildings that are on the site, as the buildings range from mock town houses all the way through to modern passive houses. Whilst on site we discussed with Garry the different techniques of constuction that have been used, the layouts of the development to incorporate the UDS and the design codes that the designers would have followed to meet all of the demands.
